Review - Line Rider Zada 1.3

The original version of Line Rider was stunning. It has been copied by millions, even on Miniclip. But guess what. It just got better. And faster. And with an eraser! The Line Rider ZADA (V 1.3) is everything of the beta version crammed into another game, with a 'few' extras...

Firstly, there's the accelerating lines. This makes it a LOT easier to complete loops, spins and most of all: speed. The accelerating lines redefine line rider's speed, as gamers can draw an immense line of boosts to send the poor chap into orbit with a slight headache. Great fun for all the mouse wielding tyrants.

Next is the background pencil tool, allowing users to draw freely without altering their precious rider's face. Which hurts a bit.

The line snapping option is actually unnoticed by newbies, I thought it was some sort of gravity increase! For those who still don't know, the line snapper basically connects lines to each other when placed near to another. Quite useful if you have to zoom in to connect properly.

That last sentence leads to the tool that is the zoomer. This lets you get a close up of your fearless companion, or, scrolls backwards to reveal a much bigger landscape. Useful if you've added a picture that's too big to see.

Two left, but they're essential. The first is a VERY handy option: the flag. Whilst replaying your 2D contraption, you may select this button to place a checkered flag where your rider is. Near perfect for exact landings, apart from the snag that it can't be removed.

Finally, the tool that was being cried out for in the beta version. If you were not an absolute expert, your greatest masterpiece could be spoilt by a dodgy mouse (believe me, I've felt the agony). It is the eraser. Sure, some versions have included an undo button, but that wasn't nearly enough. The rubber is the life saver. For you and your rider. Fantastic.

Apart from those (and a little splash of colour), it's completely the same as the first and, thus, has made the best better. By a long way over mountains, through hell and into a shark's mouth.
