Out with the old and in with the new they say. The world is moving fast and technology is advancing too. Linerider Beta was a major starter for the Linerider age. But some people found it difficult to draw perfect lines and since there was no eraser, your track was ruined by one track flaw. Now in Linerider Beta 2, there are all the current, excellent, pure drawing lines.
Linerider Beta 2 has some distinctive things that need to be known. The toolbar is longer and now if you don't like your files, open up the Saves and what is there? A delete button. Also great for making more memory on your computer.
Next, remember the classic pencil with no straight line drawing? It's still there but his brother, Straight Line, is open for business. Both include the Original Line, the new Accelerating Line, and hot off the press Scenery Line. Each line is crucial in making the track look good and behave sensationally.
Next up is the Zoom feature. Do you ever wonder on how small your track looks when it is far away? With the Zoom feature it makes your track as big as dinosaur or as small as a rat scampering away with your cheese.
Like in the first Linerider, you could play and stop anytime you wanted, but in the end, you'd have to start back at the top of the run. Linerider Beta 2 features a Checkpoint Flag. When you click on it, it saves your current place, whether in midair or just cruising the slopes. This also useful in when you're creating a five minute track and you don't want to watch the beginning.
Now on to the most valued object. The Eraser! In Linerider Beta, there was no eraser so you couldn't erase the black sheep in the beautiful herd. A word of caution though. If you drew a straight line and want to erase part of it, the computer will automatically erase the whole line, so be careful.
The last two points are the Garbage Can and the Grab N' Drag Hand. The Garbage Can deletes the current track you are on, but it doesn't erase saved files. The Grab N' Drag Hand basically moves your Linerider project along. May it be up, down, side to side, or anywhere on the Game Screen.
